Yesterday we had four students represent SGS in zone track and field! Congratulations to Sadie R., Quyn, Toby, and Tristan for competing! Tristan finished 2nd in high jump and 4th in long jump, and 6th in discuss! Tough competition in these zone events, great work by everyone who participated! #kindlehearts

Gator of the Week - celebrating student character and leadership! Catching up on Gator of the Weeks for the second week of May is Maria! Maria is a part of the South Alberta Fire and Rescue! She works hard to balance a full course load, SAFR, extra-curricular, and after school work commitments. She does all of this with a super positive attitude always giving big smiles to everyone she meets! Great job Maria! #kindlehearts

Grade 10’s Lend a Hand at the Bow Island Hospital Garage Sale! 🏥❤️🛍️ Huge shoutout to our incredible Grade 10 students who were out in full force helping with the Bow Island and District Health Foundation garage sale! From heavy lifting during setup to packing everything away for takedown, these students stepped up to keep a wonderful school tradition alive. For numerous years, our Grade 10 classes have partnered with the Foundation for this event, and we couldn't be prouder to see this year's group carry the torch. The Bow Island Hospital is such a vital part of our community, and our students were absolutely thrilled to give back and support the amazing work the Foundation does. Thank you to the Bow Island and District Health Foundation for having us, and way to go, Grade 10s! You represent Senator Gershaw so well. 🙌🎒 #Kindlehearts
