Many classes today participated in Ag for Life - Mission to Mars on farm safety. Grade 7’s successfully completed their mission and passed safety training to farm on Mars! #agforlife #cdnagday

Students today not only dressed like farmers but were able to see through video a part of agriculture around Bow Island! Thank you to Clint Thacker (LTAC Farms - spearmint, dill, and catnip), Garth Porteous (Laidlaw Ranching - cattle), and Joanne Langeweg (potatoes) for creating videos to share expertise and the process of getting food from the fields/feedlot to our plates! #CdnAgDay

Grade Nine Home Ec Class making Crepes in time for Valentines Day!

Looking forward to finishing the week in-person. See you tomorrow! Those who had grad photos scheduled for Friday they will go forward as scheduled!

Due to temperatures currently being below -40 and continued throughout most of the morning, SGS will be closed today and classes will be following our learning from home virtual Google Meet schedule from Tuesday. Grad photos scheduled for today are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Shout out to the dedicated safety patrollers making sure students at BIE got across the crosswalk safely in some pretty frigid cold! Thank you also to the bus drivers who all ran all their routes in our area today!

Kindness sales of balloons, chocolate bars and crush pop will be postponed to the week that return due to uncertainty with cold weather - sorry for the inconvenience.
